This is like a a thin skin or film that surrounds the opening to a young woman's vagina. Hymens can come in different forms. It is usually torn or broken during a sexual intercourse.
Sometimes it really depends on the type of hymen, There are types of hymen that can easily torn or broken in sports activities, even while riding bicycle or horse back riding. Some hymen are just to thick and strong that it cannot be easily torn, And there are times that it's hard to have an intercourse because of this.
Well, To know if woman have lost its virginity after a sexual intercourse, is through an examination by a doctor of course. But a woman can actually see it. A lot of people thought that hymen is inside the vagina. No. When the hymen is broken the opening is somewhat bigger and you can actually see part of the inside of the vagina. There are hymenal tags or laceration left. but like what was mentioned earlier. There is possibility that hymen is torn due to different activities. Or even if its the first sexual intercourse.
For some men the real deal about virginity doesn't based through pain or if the hymen is still intact. It is based a woman had a sexual intercourse with an opposite sex for the very first time.
